Complete the Package: Add Express for Quantum Leap Improvement in Receiving/QA Operations

Cargo Data’s patented Express handheld data retrieval device provides instant viewing of vital digital temperature recorder data. Receiving and/or QA staff can place any Cargo Data digital temperature recorder* in the Express dock for a quick 5 second download. Once data is downloaded from the recorder, the familiar line graph chart is displayed on the large color LCD. Data can also be viewed in tabular format.

With the easy to use on-board keypad, Receivers can add documentation such as purchase order number, carrier, commodity, etc., to the temperature record. Express improves operational efficiency by eliminating staff trips to the Receiving Office to view/print a temperature record.

Express enables rapid “batch” PC downloads of up 100 records at a time, time in 4 minutes. This greatly reduces time spent by personnel to download and archive individual records from used recorders.

To further optimize operational efficiency, Express is Radio Frequency enabled. Express can wirelessly download temperature data from Cargo Data’s Select RF digital temperature recorders. Wireless downloads allow Receiving and QA staff to view temperature data while standing on the dock plate before the product has been off-loaded. This quantum leap in efficiency completely eliminates all labor costs associated with handling product rejected due to temperature abuse.
